Volunteer Activities Coordinator

Marlborough Place II (Seniors Residence in Cornwall)  

We are currently looking for a friendly and energetic volunteer to hold the position of Activities Coordinator. 

The Activities Coordinator is needed to plan and provide group activities for our residents 1-3 times per week. He/she will be required to co-ordinate with and receive approval from the Director of Care and provide a weekly schedule of activities. These activities must be engaging and safe for the residents. 

This is a great opportunity for high-school students to accrue volunteer hours, help people in their community and learn valuable skills! 

What we are looking for in a successful volunteer:

- Reliability 

- Ability to communicate in French and English an asset 

- Experience leading activity groups an asset 

- First-Aid Certification an asset
